Before and After Yellow Flower-ish Chair

Hi all good morning ! I hope you all have a great weekend !

Are you one of those people sometimes can't say no when someone ask you if you want stuff that they don't like. Somehow you don't like it too but you don't want to hurt the person feeling. Here I'm said Yes to this yellow chair { I love the shape just don't like the fabric}. That time I didn't have any idea what to do with it. Back in my mind I will buy slipcover and just cover all this flowers but it didn't happen.
This chair has been sitting in my apartment for more than a year and I covered it with a throw.
A week ago my husband and I went to Goodwill outlet and I did dumpster diving and found this curtain { my husband was laughing at me, he must be thinking what did I sign up for here :)}
The fabric is still in a good condition. I was thinking to use it to reupholster my yellow chair.

 First I painted the chair feet into white.

Starting to come together. I did an easy reupholstery. I just covered the old fabric with the new fabric. Sorry for the dark picture I took it in the evening and my camera wasn't that great.

Here you go. Welcome to my "new to me" chair. I didn't do a very good job but is good enough for me without spending lots of money but still have a new chair :)
Remember the chair is free, the fabric is free, and the paint is leftover from the previous project. I just bought the rope for the trim.
I glued gun blue navy trim around the the chair.

I'm happy with this chair although my husband will think I should wait for him to help me. He does more neat job than me. That is why I love it when he helps me with project. With this chair I didn't have patience to wait for him:)
