Console Table Makeover

Hi all ! I hope you had a wonderful day ! I'm sure most of you who celebrate Christmas are busy trying to decorate your house or buy gifts for your loved ones. I know that has filled my days of late. I am almost done with my Christmas decorations, and have only one more gift to buy.


I found this console table from a yard sale for $5. I was hesitant to buy the table because it was missing the glass top, but my husband convinced me to buy it. We had to purchase a custom made glass for the top because of the size. We called all over town searching for a shop who made custom glass, compared prices and finally found the cheapest one within a 20 mile radius.

I painted the table with lilac muse from Valspar, spray painted the cane pattern inside the glass and finished it with lacquer.



The end result was not bad at all. I like the fresh white paint. It makes the table look fresh and new. What a change paint can make.
