Church Made Out of Cracker Boxes { HOPE }

Hi friends how is your weekend so far ? I hope you had a good one !
This Church reminds me there is still hope and grace in our troubled life. It came from a special auction our church held to raise money for missionaries overseas. My husband just loved it because it is made out of cracker boxes and a little bit of everything. Even more special because it was made in prison.

I don't really know the story of the person who made it. A sweet lady from our church bought it from the prison and knew the person who made it. She brought it to the auction.

Sometimes people think that a person in prison has lost hope and grace. People pass judgment on them. Some people think when they are inside that prison that there is nothing to do. I think it is all perspective. It doesn't matter where you are. Our attitude determine the future we will have.
This little church makes me think that the person who made it has hope. I'm not sure the circumstances that sent him or her to prison. That is not the point. This person's creativity was not limited to the circumstances of that moment. I'm sure when this person is released from prison they will find a good future.

So, there is a hope in the middle of the most difficult situations in our life.

I love the detail inside the church. Can you imagine all these made out of a cracker box and anything that was found. Even the logs were rolled from boxes. Remember this is in the prison.
Can you imagine how much time you need to make that piano ?

They build separately between the body and the roof.

Look at that window, the roof. Oh...my don't you just love it.
With the bell too ! Made from an earplug!

Jeremiah 29:11-12
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
